It seemed as though Elton was very happy to be back on the road with his orginal Elton John Band of the early 70's. As then, and now, this one was one of the best. Elton opened with the best opener he's got, "Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding". Then continued the mood with another rocker from 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', "All The Girls Love Alice". Then he turned to 'Captain Fantastic' for "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" and "Better Off Dead". He even played new songs from the the new album. Those songs are "Ball and Chain", the John Lennon tribute "Empty Garden", and "Where Have All The Good Times Gone". As always, he even played the crowd pleasers like "Pinball Wizard", "Rocket Man", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", "Bennie And The Jets", "Your Song", and "Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting". He then turned to the Jerry Lee Lewis and The Beatles to fule his encores playing "Whole Lotta Shaking/I Saw Her Standing There/Twist And Shout". Elton wore a red Suprem Fascist outfit.
